Valentine’s of past...
With Valentines Day quickly approaching, and Jo sending out a request of Valentine’s sweetest message you’ve sent or received, I had to take a moment and let my mind wander to Valentine’s of past. I’ve received many treats, bears, roses and cards for Valentine’s but nothing I could say about these things would grab your attention and make you want to read more! For me, it was the fact he remembered. It was that he cared enough to even try! It was one of the few days of the year that my sweets would go out of his way to look for something he knew would surprise me, this being from a guy who hates to shop and will avoid stores at all costs!! Many times he would leave at 1 a.m. or so and bring something home and set it up on a table so that I would see it first thing in the morning! My sweets isn’t one for using a lot of words to say how he feels, but an object from him can say a thousand when you know what trouble he went through just to pick it up! It’s been enough for me that he "showed" me he loved me! What he didn’t say with words, he would find in a card that said it all! All that is left from Valentine’s past are my memories, and those I will always cherish!

Welcome 2008!! This is going to be a good year, or at least it had darn well better be!! My classes start Jan. 14th, and I am very ready! The kids started a new school last week, and they are doing great so far (Tay even has a girlfriend already and wants to take her to a dance next week!!)! Hope everyone is doing good and cheers to the new year!!
